وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ

Wama arsalna fee qaryatin min nabiyyin illa akhathna ahlaha bialba/sa-i waalddarra-i laAAallahum yaddarraAAoona

翻译(Translation)：

Translator	译文(Translation)
马坚	我每派遣一个先知到一个城市去，（而他被人否认），我总要以穷困和患难惩治其居民，以便他们谦逊。
YUSUFALI	Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We took up its people in suffering and adversity, in order that they might learn humility.
PICKTHALL	And We sent no prophet unto any township but We did afflict its folk with tribulation and adversity that haply they might grow humble.
SHAKIR	And We did not send a prophet in a town but We overtook its people with distress and affliction in order that they might humble themselves.
